International Certificate of Competence
We can provide a course leading up to the ICC or simply examine you at ICC level for both Sail and Power. Please ask for details.
Own Boat Tuition
All RYA or ICC instruction is available on your own boat (as opposed to on our FlexiSail boats). Our Yacht Instructor’s Day rate charges are £200 per day for up to 2 people, with additional people charged at £25 per day per person. Power Instructor’s charges are £250 per day for 2 people, with additional people charged at £30 per person per day.

Theory – On Boat
Day Skipper and Coastal/Yachtmaster Theory can be completed in conjunction with the practical whilst on the boat. Generally 4 additional days will be required to complete the courses. Please ask for details. Alternatively we run shore based courses and have our fully supported correspondence courses.
Our Yacht courses are inclusive of all mooring fees, breakfast, lunch and fuel on board. Coastal/mile building courses also include dinner when passage making.
Laser SB3 Performance Fun Day
Join us for a fun but instructional day of sailing the Laser SB3. It can be just a blast or an opportunity to learn about rig and sail setting, sailing techniques, or general boat handling. a minimum of 2 people or maximum of 3 are required and the cost is £240 for two and £300 for three persons. Call for more details.
Booking Terms
A 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 4 weeks before commencement of the course. Should SNC need to cancel the course for any reason, our liability only extends to providing a full refund of all monies paid including the initial deposit. All courses are zero rated for VAT.
