Solent Nautical College is the dedicated training facility of SailTime Hamble & Lymington which operates its unique membership programme on Yachts and Power Boats.
SailTime offers in return for the monthly subscription;
Brand new boats (retained in the programme for a maximum of 5 years) which are highly specified and maintained in as new condition.
As a member you and your family have exclusive guaranteed access 7 times a month, including weekend access. Bookings are done through SailTime’s sophisticated online Scheduler and allows you to book in advance anything from a single evening sail up to a full week. In simple terms this gives you a minimum of six weeks guaranteed access per year. In addition you have unlimited ‘as available’ (within 24 hours) access.
There are a maximum of seven members and one Owner-Member that share access to the boat.
The Owner-Member programme is an alternative to subscription which pays you a guaranteed substantial net of costs monthly income.
Training is provided by Solent Nautical College on your SailTime boat (sail or power) on an individual basis. We charge a day rate for our instructors, not a per person rate. This can be one-to-one or up to one-to-four.
SNC also provides a multitude of skills workshops for members and their friends. These are charged on a per person basis, at a rate well below typical commercial rates. See our Workshop rates.
